Having Sibsgiving with Malu, our best friend and her brother. Sadly, won’t happen this year, but it’s still my fave. =)

  • Favorite food: Green bean casserole and stuffing!
  • Least favorite food: It’s a tie, Cranberry Sauce + Pumpkin Pie

3.) Who is someone you’re thankful for and why?
My family for always being there for me, my therapist for helping me through literally everything, and my awesome boss, who is the best leader

  • Grateful for Cheerios
  • FaceTime
  • My job

I don’t, but only because I started celebrating this holiday when I moved here from Brazil.

Simply gathering with the ones I love and enjoying our meal together til we’re just as stuffed as the turkey!!

  • Favorite food: It’s a tie between the stuffing and pumpkin pie!
  • Least favorite food: Cranberry Sauce

3.) Who is someone you’re thankful for and why?
Someone I’m thankful for- My sister, who always supports me and loves me unconditionally.

4.) Three things you’re grateful for daily?
  • Home- whether it’s found in a physical place or in the hearts of all those I hold dear.
  • My kitty, whose snuggles are always my favorite way to start and end my days.
  • Being ALIVE and healthy!

THIS THANKSGIVING, WHAT ARE YOU MOST THANKFUL FOR? 

I’m most thankful for my friends, family and community, as well as the means to stay connected to them this year whether near or far.

Miss Rachael Says –

1.) Favorite tradition and/or part of Thanksgiving?

Favorite part of Thanksgiving is sitting around with my family and stuffing our faces with so much food we need to take a nap on the couch afterwards.

2.) Favorite and least favorite food on Thanksgiving?
  • Favorite food: mashed potatoes
  • Least favorite food: cranberry sauce

3.) Who is someone you’re thankful for and why?
I am thankful for my mom because she is the strongest woman I know. She had to go through many obstacles and still finds a way to find humor in everything. I strive to be like her.

4.) Three things you’re grateful for daily?
Three things I am grateful for daily are the ability to move my body which allows me to teach, having a roof over my head, and my supportive family.

THIS THANKSGIVING, WHAT ARE YOU MOST THANKFUL FOR? 

For this Thanksgiving I’m most grateful for dance and the ability to share it with my students virtually, at the studio, or in their backyards. Oh, and burritos. Can’t get enough of them!

Miss Kris Says –

1.) Favorite tradition and/or part of Thanksgiving?

Back home in Easton PA is special bc on turkey day we have a high school rivalry football game that the whole town goes to. It’s over 100 years old & pretty awesome to regain connection with old friends and family.

  • Least favorite food: cranberries

3.) Who is someone you’re thankful for and why?
It’s tough but to pinpoint one person, my mother. She instills and maintains traditions that hold dear to my heart & look forward to every year!

4.) Three things you’re grateful for daily?
  • my health
  • the friends in my circle
  • the opportunities I’m given, and  blessed to receive
THIS THANKSGIVING, WHAT ARE YOU MOST THANKFUL FOR? 

I guess at this moment, trying to find light in this weird “storm” of a sense: so I’m most thankful for these three things that have given me that.

I’m continuously, and positively reinforced by my close friends (near & far), family I haven’t seen in ages who support and love unconditionally. And last but not least this unwavering desire to express creatively. Whether it be dance, writing or diy sewing project gifts for others.  It’s really saved me this year! Thankful for the “chin up” attitude to keep going, just like everyone else!
